Dutch Oven Strawberry Dump Cake close up

We enjoy using a Dutch Oven while camping because it allows for cooking outside, and food tastes better prepared in cast iron.

Sometimes, we stack Dutch ovens, allowing us to cook dinner and dessert simultaneously. That is what we did when we created this fruity cobbler.

Try to get all of the cake mix covered with soda or butter; otherwise, you get powdery spots.
