How to Grill Tater Tots

Heat a grill to medium-high heat, with a target of 425 degrees.

Put enough frozen tots in a foil pan to cover the bottom. If you stack them, they will not bake properly.

Place on the grill and bake for 25-30 minutes, extending the time if needed.

Due to uneven heating, cooking frozen tater tots over the campfire is not advised.

While the tots are baking, prepare the meat. I browned ground beef on the camp stove and added taco seasoning. Chop tomatoes, avocado, peppers, lettuce, or other desired vegetables.

Open up the grill and add the meat, beans, and shredded cheese. Close the lid and bake for about five more minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Remove the pan from the grill and add any more desired toppings. Want a bigger portion? Use a larger foil pan.
