Combine two popular camping foods to create S’more Dogs. This unusual creation allows you to have dinner and dessert together. Please don’t knock it until you try it.

Recently, we were camping with friends, and they told us about marshmallow glizzies. They commented that it was missing something like hazelnut spread or chocolate.

That got me thinking. Since I like Frosting for S’mores, why not use them in hot dogs with marshmallows?

Introducing S’more Hot Dogs!

S’more Dogs Recipe

As the name indicates, you need ingredients for s’mores and hot dogs.

• All beef hot dogs
• Hot dog buns
• Marshmallows
• Milk chocolate frosting
• Graham crackers

How to Make a S’more Dog

1. Spread chocolate frosting on each hot dog bun.
2. Sprinkle crushed graham crackers over the frosting.
3. Roast a hot dog and two marshmallows over the campfire for each bun.
4. Place the toasted marshmallows into the bun.
5. Push the hot dog down, squishing the marshmallows.

While one person can make this, it’s optimal to have one person roasting hot dogs while the other roasts marshmallows.

Since we were at a group campout, we made up a whole bunch and cut them up into small pieces for everyone to taste. Overwhelmingly, people love them!

Someone commented that it should not work, but it does.
